NYC is a Japanese boy band formed by Ryosuke Yamada and Yuri Chinen of Hey! Say! JUMP and Johnny's Jr. Yuma Nakayama in 2010. Before that, seven-members unit NYC Boys (stylized NYC boys) was formed on June 7, 2009, to promote the FIVB World Grand Prix 2009, an event that began on July 31 and ended on August 23, 2009. They performed the theme song "NYC" in Tokyo and Osaka before each game.

KRA

Kra is a Japanese visual kei band on the PS Company label. Their music is a combination of pop, rock and a little jazz.They band formed in August 2001, and released their first demo tape, Brise, on May 18, 2002. The following November, they signed a contract with PS Company after releasing their second demo tape, Hard Lolita.

Kra made their major label debut with the single Heart Balance on September 21, 2006.

Funky Monkey Babys

Funky Monkey Babys (ファンキー・モンキー・ベイビーズ?) is a Japanese band grouped in 2004 under the record company Dreamusic, Inc. Their music is mostly hip hop, but is also inspired by pop and rock music. All members in the group are from Hachiōji, Tokyo, Japan. They are known for featuring celebrities in their promotion videos and singles jackets. The band is also known as Fan-mon (ファンモン) in short.

Their 4th single, "Lovin' Life", is a charted hit that recorded long sales and received multiple high rankings on the Japanese sales charts in the first half of 2007. In July 2007, they released another single titled "Chippoke na Yūki." They are attracting fans with their high energy live performances all over Japan and continue to gain popularity on various popular media.

On February 10, 2010, the band released their first greatest hits album Funky Monkey Babys Best. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Japanese Oricon weekly charts with the first week sales of around 255,000 copies.

Kara [Korean Girl Band]

Kara  is a Girl group from south korea signed with Daesung Entertainment Greek Word "chara" (χαρά, lit. "joy"),which the group interpreted to mean "sweet melody".DSP). The band name Kara comes from the
Kara started as a four-member group and debuted with their first album The First Blooming in 2007. In 2008, Kim Sunghee departed the group due to parental pressure, and two members were brought in; as such, the group consists of five members: Park Gyuri, Han Seung-Yeon, Goo Hara, Nicole and Kang Jiyoung. The five-member band achieved their first number one song with "Honey".Other singles include "Pretty Girl", "Wanna", "Mister", and "Lupin."
The group has released two full-length albums — The First Blooming and  Revolution— along with various EPs. Kara has won various awards, including the Best Dance Award at the M.net Asian music Award and Best Female Singer at the 16th Korean Entertainment Arts Awards.
Kara began to promote internationally in various Asian countries as of 2009.
